Taking Care of the Land

Bobolink Farm is a grass-based farm in East Montpelier, regenerating land that formerly supported a conventional dairy operation. We raise lamb for meat and wool, using an intensive rotational grazing system and producing our own hay for winter feed.

Like the bobolink, this farm relies on healthy and productive grassland. We are committed to preserving a healthy ecosystem in order to provide diverse natural habitat for wildlife, to maintaining productive farmland, and to creating a dynamic hub for our local community.

Find our lamb, wool, and maple products during the summer months at the Barre Farmers Market, every Wednesday 3:30-6:30pm, and the Plainfield Farmers Market, every Friday 4-7pm, June through October, and direct from the farm year round.
